Shannon Bream (born Shannon Noelle DePuy; December 23, 1970)〔 〕 is an American journalist for the Fox News Channel. She is Fox News's Supreme Court reporter as well as the anchor of ''America's News Headquarters'' on Sundays from 12:00-2:00 p.m (Eastern). Bream is also an occasional substitute anchor for ''Special Report with Bret Baier," "Fox News Sunday," and ''The Kelly File." ==Biography== Born in Tallahassee, Florida, Bream is the only daughter of Marie Norris, a teacher, and Ed DePuy, a Leon County Commissioner. She attended North Florida Christian High School in Tallahassee and graduated in the class of 1988 at the age of 17. While in school, her first job was helping her mother in renovating houses scraping the paint off window panes.〔(Shannon Breem IMDB Bio )〕 Bream attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and graduated in 1992 with a degree in business. While attending Liberty University she entered the Miss Virginia pageant. Bream won the title of Miss Virginia in 1990. She participated in the Miss America 1991 pageant and was one of the top 10 finalists. Her scholarship award covered much of her education.〔(Charlotte Observer Shannon Bream proved old boss wrong )〕 After graduating from Liberty University in 1993,〔( 2013 graduates to hear from Shannon Bream, Ravi Zacharias )〕 Bream returned to Tallahassee and attended law school at Florida State University. She interned with Florida Congressman Bill McCollum, in the US House of Representatives at the time. McCollum would later become the Florida Attorney General. While at law school at Florida State, she won the Miss Florida USA pageant (1995) and competed in the Miss USA 1995 pageant finishing in fourth place.〔 She is one of only a few women to have competed in these two national pageants representing different states.
